Ludogorets vs. Dudelange

Europe, Champions League – Qualification, 16.07.2014, 19:00h

The match will be played on “Ludogorets Arena” in Razgrad. The weather is rainy but the pitch is in good condition. Bulgarian Champions enter the match in good mood after beating strong opponents in their pre-sesason friendlies. On the press-conference yesterday, Stoycho Stoev(Lud’s coach) said that they will not underestimate Dudelange and will try to make their job about the 2nd leg much easier. Ludogorets have the best team in Bulgaria, they do not sell their stars during the summer but captured one of the good players in Bulgarian “A” PFG – Abel Anicet(Winger) from Botev(Plovdiv) and also Brayan Angulo(full back) from “Granada” but he is not expected to start.  champions-league-logoStoycho Stoev is a very skillful and careful coach. He was chosen from more than 100 candidates for the job. As we can see he has done perfect job during past seasons and now the main objective is to play in Champions League Group Stage. In local Championship this year, they are the favourites to win the League and will have little resistance mainly from Litex Lovech and CSKA Sofia, Botev bankrupt and Levski is in reorganisation period with no bright sight about season objectives. So as last year Ludogorets will focus on Europe matches. Financially, they are the richiest club in Bulgaria because of such an ambitious owners as Kiril Domustchiev and his brother Georgi Domustchiev, today they will be on the stands as always! There are problems for the Bulgarians in attack – Quixada is suspended, but the main goalscorer – Roman Bezyak is fit and ready to play. Georgi Terzyev is sidelined due to injury but there is good cover in the face of Alexander Barthe. Stoev will field his best in 4-2-3-1 formation and the probable line-up should be like this: V.Stoyanov – Caicara, Barthe, Moti, Minev – Dyakov, Zlatinski – Lumu, Marcelinho, Misidjan – Bezyak. During last season we saw that Dudelange are not the team/club that they were in the past. We all remember their clashes with strong Red Bull Salzburg. They have french, belgian and other footballers in the squad. But for this fixture, as we read in one of the posts above, their main offensive players are unavailable. Their new dojave za danas coach said that they want to beat Ludogorets in Luxembourg and are coming to Bulgaria to earn a good result for the return game but they haven’f faced such an organised team(and a clun) as the hosts. Stoycho Stoev said that he always tells his players that there are no easier opponents in proffesional football so I expect the team to approach the match really focused. Knowing the offensive power of Ludogorets I expect some goals in Dudelange’s net. The class and ambitions difference of both clubs is huge and most of the bookmakers offer short markets for the match. If you can find to bet on Over 3.5/4.5 goal line or AH on Ludogorets – go for it!
